I. Civilian Awards

The civilian awards are to be instituted irrespective of any distinction of race, occupation, caste, position, or gender.

The most important civilian awards in India are Bharata Ratna, Padma Vibhushan, padma Bhushan, Padma Shri.

II. Militery Awards

Gallantry awards of India are known as Military awards. Military awards are given as a mark of honor for military outstanding service or achievement.

VI. Bravery Awards
