I. Civilian Awards

Civilian awards are instituted without regard to race, profession, caste, position or gender.

The most important civilian awards in India are the Bharat Ratna, Padma Vibhushan, Padma Bhushan, and Padma Shri.

II. Militery Awards

VI. Bravery Awards
